The University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix proudly organizes Mini-Medical School, a fascinating community lecture series open to the public. This fall, Mini-Medical School will host Simulation Birthing Mannequinrenowned experts in different health related fields.

What does it feel like to be a medical student? In this Mini-Medical School, attendees will learn about medicine and what it takes to succeed in medical school from College of Medicine – Phoenix students. Participants will learn the step-by-step process of “scrubbing in” before a surgery, test their skills at suturing and tying surgical knots and interact with an obstetrics simulation mannequin from the college’s Center for Simulation and Innovation. Medical students will also be available to answer any questions you might have about admission to the college, as well as what you can do to prepare yourself for a successful career in medicine.
