Commencement marks a student's transition from the classroom to practicing medicine. It is the end of their medical school journey that has taken them four years to complete, and it is the culmination of all they have worked so hard for.
This year's ceremony took place on Monday, May 8, from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. It was the seventh graduating class since the College opened in 2007.
The University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix admitted its inaugural class of first-year medical students in August 2007 and is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.
