Overview

COM-Phoenix IT provides server administration and data storage services to the College. Physical and virtual systems are provisioned, operated and maintained in support of the day-to-day operation of the college and it’s initiatives.

COM-Phoenix IT operates a dedicated server room in building 1 on the Phoenix Biomedical Campus. In addition, we have obtained rack space in a larger  data center located in the ABC1 building. A dedicated UPS unit supports this space, with 1GB data connections provided by a UITS managed network switch.

How do I request service?

COM-Phoenix IT uses a service desk system for tracking and recording requests. Please email PBC-ITSupport@email.arizona.edu  or call 602-827-4357 to submit a service request.

Operating system installation and maintenance, including virtual server infrastructure and provisioning.

Firewall configuration

Security monitoring

Data backup and recovery.

File and Print services.

Provision, configure and secure centralized personal and shared file storage.

Establish directory structure & access permissions.

Provide backup and recovery services for COM-Phoenix servers.

Monitor system performance, availability and utilization.

Provide Active Directory Domain Services for the management, interoperability and security of systems.

Database hosting and administration.
