CORE Institute Office – North Phoenix

The three-story, 78,000 square-foot office building serves as the main outpatient facility of the fellowship and houses research facilities complete with motion analysis laboratory, mechanical testing equipment, prototyping shop and cadaveric dissection laboratory; administrative offices, several conference rooms and an auditorium; a clinical floor, where patient encounters occur; two x-ray machines and one fluoroscopic machine operated by four radiology technicians; four technicians who run the durable medical device (DME) department, which supplies all the orthotics and casting needs of the clinic; and is also equipped with electronic medical records (EMR) and digital imaging capabilities. Overall, fifteen physicians and nine physician assistants utilize 59 exam rooms to see over 5,700 patients each month, and they are supported by 13 medical assistants, eight front desk personnel, four administrators, three triage personnel and three data services personnel. All clinics are able to run independently of the fellow, so the fellow’s learning will be the top priority if unique opportunities are available. Fellows will share a pod of four exam rooms with the assigned supervising attending. The presence of physician assistants will help with the flow of the office and limit clerical work on the part of the fellow.

CORE Institute Office – Sun City West

This 18,600 square-foot office has 40 exam rooms staffed by six front desk personnel, nine medical assistants, 10 physician assistants and nine physicians. The presence of physician assistants will help with the flow of the office and limit clerical work on the part of the fellow. The office is equipped with electronic medical records (EMR) and digital imaging capabilities. This office sees and average of 5030 patients per month. It also has an additional attached 5,300 square-foot facility for physical therapy.

CORE Institute Office – Peoria

This 13,000 square-foot office has 21 exam rooms staffed by four front desk personnel, six medical assistants, three physician assistants and five physicians. The presence of physician assistants will help with the flow of the office and limit clerical work on the part of the fellow. The office is equipped with electronic medical records (EMR) and digital imaging capabilities. This office sees an average of 2,319 patients per month.

CORE Institute Office – Mesa

This 5,400 square-foot office has 10 exam rooms staffed by two front desk personnel, two medical assistants, two physician assistants and eight physicians. The presence of physician assistants will help with the flow of the office and limit clerical work on the part of the fellow. The office is equipped with electronic medical records (EMR) and digital imaging capabilities. This office sees and average of 1,406 patients per month. It also has an additional attached 2,900 square-foot facility for physical therapy.

CORE Institute Office – Gilbert

This 12,300 square-foot office has 16 exam rooms staffed by four front desk personnel, six medical assistants, one physician assistants and 10 physicians. The presence of physician assistants will help with the flow of the office and limit clerical work on the part of the fellow. The office is equipped with electronic medical records (EMR) and digital imaging capabilities. This office sees and average of 1,406 patients per month. It also has an additional attached 5,700 square-foot facility for physical therapy.

Banner Children’s Specialist Pediatric Plastic Surgery and Children’s Rehabilitative Services Clinic

Both clinics have three exam rooms staffed by four medical assistants, two registered nurses and one physician assistant. The presence of physician assistants will help with the flow of the office and limit clerical work on the part of the fellow.

Arizona Center for Hand Surgery – Phoenix and Mesa

The Phoenix office is 12,000 square-feet, and its 12 patient exam rooms are staffed with six medical assistants, two nurse practitioners, one radiology technician, one orthopaedic technician and one certified hand therapist. The Mesa office is 7,100 square-feet, and its 13 exam rooms are staffed with four medical assistants, two nurse practitioners, one radiology technician, one orthopaedic technician and one certified hand therapist. The presence of physician assistants and nurse practitioners will help with the flow of the office and limit clerical work on the part of the fellow. Both offices see approximately 2,200 patients per month.
