Why Arizona and Banner – University Medical Center Phoenix: My significant other is from Arizona and was already here doing a post-doc, plus when I came here I felt at home with the people in this program and it felt like the place I needed to be.

Why Arizona and Banner – University Medical Center Phoenix: No cold weather! Beautiful desert, with many outdoor activities. I also enjoy the opportunity to work with immigrants and refugees in the Phoenix community. The UA College of Medicine – Phoenix offers and incredible, broad-spectrum training in a supportive environment, with many opportunities for academic and leadership activities. The residents and faculty are incredible clinicians and people.

I chose Banner for the wonderful faculty and emphasis on quality patient care, community values and the focus on developing well-rounded family physicians.
