Undergraduate: Arizona State University
Medical School: Midwestern University – Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine
Why Arizona and UA College of Medicine – Phoenix: I am an Arizona native, so the possibility to stay in Phoenix near family and friends and to learn while serving the community where I grew up was very appealing. The staff and residents here are amazing, and I had witnessed the strength of the Family Medicine residents when I had worked as scribe in the ED here prior to med school. I hope to be able to follow in their footsteps as I work to become the type of physician who has a true impact on patients' health.

Undergraduate: Case Western Reserve University
Medical School: A.T. Still University – Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine
Why Arizona and UA College of Medicine – Phoenix: So many reasons! The rigorous, flexible, evidence-based curriculum with strong pediatric and obstetric training (if desired); an abundance of leadership opportunities; most important, the people at our program — approachable, knowledgeable and engaged faculty, happy and supportive residents and great support staff. After rotating at Banner as a medical student, nowhere else felt the same. I've loved living in Arizona for the past two years. There are so many things to do, the weather can't be beat eight months of the year and the cost of living is low.

Why Arizona and UA College of Medicine – Phoenix: Born and bred in the Midwest and was ready for a new adventure. Two of my four siblings had relocated with their families to the Phoenix area, so I was somewhat familiar with the Southwest. I joined Banner because once I became acquainted with the people and many other assets of the program, I realized this was where I could make my home. There's a lot of heart in this "family."
