Undergraduate: Brigham Young University
Medical School: Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center
Best Thing About Our Program: Hands down, the people. The faculty are great teachers and will do whatever it takes to help you succeed. Administration is second to none, and the camaraderie among residents is real. The opportunity to work at multiple hospitals provides exposure to a broad range of patients and diagnoses. Phoenix is also a great place to live — diverse, with a lot to do and see.
Career Interests: I particularly enjoy pediatric hospital medicine and adult outpatient medicine. I am also interested in gut microbiome and the role of diet/nutrition in both treatment and prevention of the disease.

Undergraduate: California State University – Fullerton
Medical School: Dartmouth College
Best Thing About Our Program: The people! My co-residents, attendings and staff have all been a great asset in the transition from medical school to residency. If there are other med-peds residents rotating with me, they'll check in and offer to help, even if I'm not directly working with them. There is always someone who has your back!
Career Interests: Not sure yet, but I'm exploring the different ways I can integrate the best of both worlds together.
