The neurology residency experience involves three years of clinical training and is designed to provide progressively increasing patient care experience and responsibility, culminating in the ability to practice independently. Clinical care includes weekly continuity clinics, inpatient rotations at three primary sites, a variety of didactics and conferences, electives and research opportunities.

Didactics

The general didactic curriculum includes daily morning report and teaching rounds, weekly neuroradiology, grand rounds and formal lectures in neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, clinical neurology and associated science. Journal clubs and morbidity and mortality conferences are held monthly. Additional didactic sessions take place during child neurology and VA rotations.
