Eighty brilliant and highly qualified students of the Class of 2022 will be welcomed into the College of Medicine – Phoenix at our White Coat Ceremony on Friday, July 20. They are joining a community of dedicated faculty, staff and generous supporters like you!
We invite all members of our community, as well as the families and friends of Class of 2022, to watch our video to learn what their white coat means to our students and then to make a gift to support them in their studies.
The personal challenges that many in the Class of 2022 have faced are at the heart of their strong desire to live a life of service as a physician. “Elizabeth” is the child of immigrants who came to the United States to escape religious persecution. She endured poverty and a home destroyed by domestic violence. But she persevered, and came to believe that “A life worth living is one lived for others.” She was a Pathway Scholar, a program that has laid the foundation for her success at the College of Medicine-Phoenix.
