Beth Schermer

Brief Bio

Beth has extensive experience in training and consulting in leadership and organizational development, change navigation, conflict management and communications, as well as executive coaching to clients around the country. Her work includes health care and non-profit clients, such as medical schools and academic medical centers, as well as Fortune 500 businesses, start-ups, trade associations and law firms.  

In 2005-2006, Beth served as Interim Vice Dean, Administration, for the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix. In this role, she was responsible for leading and coordinating efforts to secure the initial accreditation for the new four-year program and establish initial curriculum, faculty, processes and organizational structures. Before engaging full-time in leadership and organizational development, Beth was a nationally recognized health law attorney, working with health systems, academic centers, trade associations and other organizations on strategic business and regulatory initiatives, compliance and internal investigations and day-to-day operations.  

Beth received her BA from Yale University and her JD from Harvard Law School. She currently serves on the board of St. Luke’s Health Initiative.

Beth is trained in and certified to teach multiple leadership, communications and organizational behavioral models, including Leadership Process Motivating Achievement, Process Communication Model and the Change Cycle.
