Research Office Workshop - Biostatistics: Power Analysis Workshop

This session will cover the basic principles of power analysis for animal and human research and address how approaches for power calculations vary for different study designs. Topics covered will include the general hypothesis testing framework, factors affecting power, basic study designs, and typical information needed by the Biostatistics and Study Design Service to perform power analysis and determine sample sizes.
