Hispanic Heritage Month: Lunch and Learn - Latino/x Identity from 1970s to the Present

All members of the Phoenix Biomedical Campus and community are invited to this Lunch and Learn led by Dr. Manuel Hernandez. He will discuss the evolution of Latino/x identity in the United States from the 1970s to the present, and what these changes mean for health care professionals providing culturally competent care for Latino/x patients. Dr. Manuel Hernandez is an associate professor of Spanish language and Chicano/Latino studies at Arizona State University. Lunch will be provided to attendees who RSVP before the day of the event.
