Jesus Ramirez-Valles, PhD, MPH, will speak on how the aging of queer people, especially gay men, is transforming cultural perceptions of aging and gerontology.  As gay and bisexual men — including those living with HIV — of the "Baby Boomer" generation have entered older age, they are creating new ways of being old within the constraints of dominant societal forces.

This event is presented by the Geriatrics Interest Group and the Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.
