Sarah Coles, MD, assistant professor in the Department of Family, Community and Preventive Medicine, was named 2018 Alumna of the Year for the UA College of Medicine – Phoenix during Homecoming festivities in Tucson. A 2011 graduate of the College, Dr. Coles developed the Longitudinal Patient Care Course and is the co-principal investigator in the Community Health Mentor Program. In conferring the honor, the UA Alumni Association said Dr. Coles is a “passionate physician and educator who is committed to medical education, patient advocacy and community medicine.”
