Research Interns: Graduate students at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix are typically hired in the position of Research Intern (RI). This position is designed to:

  • Provide research training and benefits to graduate students while they work toward completion of a degree.
  • Provide support to the College of Medicine – Phoenix faculty in their research endeavors.
  • Provide hands-on learning, which allows the student to develop research skills.
  • Provide optimal professional and career training options to students during their graduate careers.

Research Interns are accepted from UAHS Clinical Translational Sciences, College of Medicine – Phoenix MD/PhD, or ASU School of Life Sciences programs. Prospective or current students should contact said programs about opportunities to apply for a Research Intern position at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix.
