Areas of Interest: As the program director, Dr. Nieri has a general interest in promoting the principals of geriatric medicine by training physicians that will provide quality geriatric care in our communities. His specific interest is healthy aging and in developing innovative models of care for long term care and dementia patients to ensure the best quality of life in later years and at the end of life.

Areas of Interest: I enjoy developing the schedules for our physicians, fellows and residents to ensure a quality educational experience. In addition, I provide oversight of our patient’s insurance plans and process the billing.

Areas of Interest: I enjoy working with the different departments of the hospital to ensure a smooth-running office. I report to and attend leadership meetings, and I work on the programs budget, as well as human resources needs. I am also a contact for various long-term care facilities, and I coordinate our didactic schedule.
