The Office of Faculty Affairs and Development is committed to developing a vibrant, engaged, diverse community of faculty. The office provides current and prospective faculty, administrative personnel, department chairs, and college leaders with information needed to:
- Establish and sustain a culture that promotes faculty engagement, professionalism, and inclusion.
- Navigate university and college faculty policies and procedures related to faculty careers (e.g., faculty recruitment, appointments, promotion and tenure, work-life integration, faculty benefits and resources).
- Become exemplary physicians, scientists and leaders by offering a diverse array of faculty professional development activities.
- Understand and engage in faculty governance at the College of Medicine – Phoenix.

The Faculty Management System is the College of Medicine – Phoenix's centralized faculty database that includes information on faculty titles, contact information, current teaching activities, and other administrative duties. The system is available to current faculty members, department administrators, chairs and curricular coordinators. NetID login is required to access the system.
