Why the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix: I am honored to stay for cardiology here at the University of Arizona - Phoenix because I know what an incredible community we have with outstanding faculty who are both national leaders in their field but also approachable mentors, amazing colleagues whose support and collaboration make work fun, and a beautiful hospital in my hometown that exposes fellows to a wide variety of pathology with access to advanced therapies for a unique patient population. I know that this program will help cultivate the skills needed for comprehensive cardiovascular care.

Why University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix: I chose University of Arizona Phoenix because it offers an outstanding environment for both clinical and academic growth. The faculty are known to be kind, approachable, and committed to mentorship which is invaluable as a trainee. As a strong academic center, the program offers exposure to a diverse range of clinical cases across multiple subspecialties within cardiology and will allow me to pursue my passion for teaching while learning alongside other trainees and faculty. Additionally, there are ample research opportunities which will allow me to explore my interests and grow as a cardiologist. Overall, University of Arizona Phoenix simply felt right on interview day
Hobbies and Personal Interests: Outdoors, cooking, exploring new places to eat.

Research/Clinical Interests: Electrophysiology, imaging, preventative cardiology
Why University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix: I am excited to join University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix because it offers high-volume, clinically rigorous training that will help me grow into a well-rounded cardiologist and build a strong foundation for my future career interests. I am also excited for the opportunity to start the next chapter in Phoenix, where I can be closer to family, train alongside supportive colleagues & mentors, and live in a city that offers a great balance between fellowship and life outside the hospital!
Hobbies and Personal Interests: Golf, cooking, spending time with family, and our golden retrievers.

Why the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix: There were a few things that really drew me to U of A. I've always loved being outdoors and sunny days, so Arizona felt like a natural fit for me. From a training standpoint, I was really impressed by the exposure to some of the sickest and most complex patients, along with the opportunity to train with world-renowned cardiologists and get strong subspecialty exposure. On a personal level, being here also meant to be close to my wife while she's doing her surgery residency. Lastly, being an avid foodie, having a nice food scene here has been a sweet bonus. Overall, it just felt like a place where I could get excellent training while also really enjoying where I live.
