Short Bio
Dr. Tan is an internationally recognized cardiovascular researcher whose work focuses on identifying molecular mechanisms and therapeutic targets for cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. He joined the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix and Phoenix Children's Research Institute as a professor in the Department of Child Health, where he directs a research program studying growth factor signaling, cardiometabolic disease, and chemotherapy-related cardiovascular complications in children and adults.
