Overview

Led by Katie Brite, MD, Associate Dean of Community Engagement and a Family Medicine physician, the Office of Community Engagement was established to guide and manage our critical mission—engaging and serving the community.

The Department of Family, Community, and Preventive Medicine (FCPM) is deeply rooted in community engagement. As a department for and of our communities, we actively support the Office of Community Engagement in faculty development, grant funding, program oversight, and mission-driven initiatives. We also identify community needs and develop programs to address them. While our department plays a key role in training Family Medicine physicians, the Community and Preventive Medicine components require strong collaboration with partners across the college and beyond.

Key Areas of Focus
