Program Overview

The Pre-Medical Summer School is a program for Arizona residents who are experiencing unique or greater than average challenges in preparing to become competitive medical school applicants. Considerations will be given to Arizona Residents that are:

  • Socioeconomically disadvantaged.
  • First generation college attendees.
  • From rural Arizona.
  • Members of Federally recognized American Indian Tribes.
  • Committed to serving the under-served and diverse populations of Arizona.

The program offers social support, as well as research and clinical opportunities, teaching students to become competitive medical school applicants. The program is guided by the college’s four pillars: Education, Research, Clinical and Community; all of which are considered in the holistic review of medical school applications.

Thank you to our faculty, staff and students for volunteering their time. This allows us to offer the Pre-Medical Summer School at no cost to the participants.
