This series has been created to establish a premiere U of A College of Medicine – Phoenix series featuring in-person research seminars presented by the highest caliber basic science and translational researchers, mostly, from outside U of A, with broad impact and reputations in the various fields that span the research focus at the College.
Speaker Selection
A committee of research faculty leaders generates and evaluates nominations from the research faculty at large. The Dean's Seminar Series Committee provides oversight of nominations, as well as faculty-level organization of each seminar event.
Nominated speakers should be of the highest caliber of accomplishment in their field, as evidenced by publication impact, significant and innovative discoveries, and recognition awards. Our focus is excellent basic and translational science research.

We are currently accepting speaker nominations for our inaugural seminar, scheduled to take place in Fall 2025. More details will be announced shortly!
