BMS faculty are united in their quest for scholarship. While the research programs of the BMS faculty are varied, ranging from functional anatomy and basic cell molecular biology to cardiovascular physiology, behavioral disorders, developing model organ-systems and research in medical education, they overlap in many experimental technologies and the fundamental principle of performing hypothesis driven investigations.

The strength of our research programs is recognized by funding support from the National Institutes of Health, American Heart Association, National Science Foundation and other national and regional funding agencies.
