Fellows actively participate in all ongoing clinical trials within epilepsy program including neurosurgery projects.
Fellows will be assigned a mentor who will directly supervise their research. They will receive didactics in research and join the research program at the neuroscience center. The fellow is expected to develop at least one hypothesis driven research protocol during the first year of fellowship and complete the project before the end of the second year. In addition, each fellow will submit at least one research abstract to American Epilepsy Society meeting every year.
