Overview

Our diverse core faculty includes physicians and personnel from several specialties — allowing for exposure to a variety of different procedures and techniques to maximize the fellow’s clinical repertoire. During the two-year program, in addition to the foundational sexual medicine clinic experience, the fellows gain exposure to cancer survivorship, integrative medicine, pelvic floor medicine/physical therapy, urogynecology, nutrition and sex therapy/sexology.

Fellows actively participate in teaching Obstetrics and Gynecology residents and medical students. The fellows present a Grand Rounds topic related to Female Sexual Medicine twice a year. Each fellow is expected to present yearly at the national level, with the intention of submitting a manuscript for a peer-reviewed publication. At the conclusion of the two years, fellows will be well-prepared to function as highly sought referral consultants in either academic medicine or private practice, according to their professional choice.
