Deadlines are communicated to students via email from the Office of Financial Aid, COMPHX-FinancialAid@arizona.edu
To apply for either a Primary Care Loan or a Loan for a Disadvantaged Student, a student must:
- File the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the current academic year and list the University of Arizona to receive the information.
- The University of Arizona school code is 001083.
- Provide consent and approval to retrieve and disclose Federal tax information. If you decline consent and approval, the student will not be eligible for federal student aid. All participants must provide consent and approval even if they didn't file a U.S. Federal tax return or any tax return at all.
Once you have updated your FAFSA, please complete the application form (PDF).
If needed, submit required documents to COMPHX-FinancialAid@arizona.edu with the subject HRSA Loan Documents.

Submit parental demographic, household, income and asset information as required:
- Provide parental financial information on form provided.
- The student's parental information must be submitted upon submission, a copy of their parent(s) signed tax forms or the Parental Certification of Non-filer must be submitted to determine eligibility.
