Banner – University Medical Center Phoenix, formerly Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center, is a level 1 trauma center with 750 hospital beds, 24 neuro-ICU beds, a 14 bed stroke unit, 42 non-telemetry neuroscience beds, an epilepsy monitoring unit and a 68 bed on campus rehab hospital with CARF stroke accreditation. Banner is known for its focus on clinical care, research activities and the nurturing of future medical professionals.

The Phoenix VA Health Care System (PVAHCS) — comprised of the Carl T. Hayden Veterans Affairs Medical Center and seven clinics — is a medium sized facility with 150 inpatient beds and 20 ICU beds. The system is patient-centered and focuses heavily on quick and easy communication between patients and their health care providers.
Banner Desert Medical Center
Banner Desert Medical Center is a state-of-the-art facility that features 206 beds, specially trained nurses and doctors and family centered care. When it comes to caring for children, Banner Cardon Children's Medical Center offers specialized care for children with conditions of the brain, spine and nervous system, including an 11 room clinic, four child neurologists and two pediatric neurosurgeons.
Banner Thunderbird Medical Center
Banner Thunderbird Medical Center is located in the city of Glendale with a 200-bed patient tower. This facility is also level 1 trauma center for ages 15 and older. Within the hospital, pediatric-focused physicians and staff members provide care in ER, inpatient and outpatient settings. This site specifically provides education in pediatric neurology through inpatient consultation and the outpatient clinic setting. The pediatric neurology clinic has 12 exam rooms. Providers include: two child neurologists and three pediatric neurology nurse practitioners.
