Banner – University Medical Center Phoenix
Founded in 1911, Banner – University Medical Center Phoenix, is a teaching hospital for students at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix, and residents with various specialty areas including neurology and general surgery. It's also part of Banner Health, a nonprofit health system that includes three academic medical centers and more than 25 hospitals in Arizona. The inpatient service is provided in two main hospital towers (Tower 1 and Tower 2) at BUMCP, which include 810 private patient rooms, with 24 neuro-ICU beds, 14 bed stroke unit, 42 neuroscience beds. Outpatient neuroscience clinic hosts 26 examination rooms, patient consultation rooms, and large resident workrooms.
Additional training sites include Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
