The Flinn Summer Research Internship

The Flinn Summer Research Internship has hosted 31 interns total across six different disciplines since its inception. The program has grown since 2023, when seven interns dove into research during the internship’s pilot year. 12 interns were accepted into the program in both 2024 and 2025. Each cohort consists of incredibly bright future scientists with a passion for improving patient health. Past interns represent diverse backgrounds and experiences which culminate in enriching, innovative research projects each summer.
