Research/Clinical Interests: I provide care for the spectrum of Rheumatologic conditions including Vasculitis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, Crystalline arthropathy, Scleroderma, and Myositis, among others. Glomerulonephritis and coordinated care in maternal rheumatologic care are specialty interests.

Why University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix: I joined Banner Health in 2010, starting initially with the Banner Medical Group before transitioning over to the Banner University Medical Group. This allowed me to offer hospital consults at Good Samaritan Hospital in addition to my outpatient clinic. Banner and the University of Arizona merged in 2014-2016, and I have continued to provide Rheumatology care in both the Outpatient and Inpatient (now named Banner University Medical Center Phoenix) settings since then. I value the collegial relationships that I have forged with physicians in other departments and systems to care for some of the Valley’s most complex Rheumatologic patients over these years. Helping patients and their families is truly a privilege.
