Banner – University Medical Center Phoenix

Banner – University Medical Center Phoenix, formerly Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center, is a nationally recognized academic medical center. The world-class hospital is focused on coordinated clinical care, expanded research activities and nurturing future generations of highly trained medical professionals who serve the community.

The Phoenix campus, long known for excellent patient care, is the new home for medical discoveries, thanks to our collaboration with the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix. The facility counts with 700 beds, four different ICUs and all facilities and services that a referral center might require.

Simple and complex procedures are performed on a daily basis, starting from all varieties of stress testing to invasive interventions utilizing the latest imaging modalities and minimally invasive techniques with cutting edge instruments. Our heart failure and transplantation service in addition to the VAD and total artificial heart program is rapidly expanding and our most anticipated, newly built robotic stereotactic, state-of-the-art  electrophysiology laboratory makes Banner – UMC Phoenix a preferred destination for medical care in the valley of Phoenix.
