Over the course of her distinguished career, Dr. Chadwick has received a multitude of honors and distinctions. This includes being chosen as Arizona's 1995 Family Physician of the year by the Arizona Academy of Family Physicians. The award was in recognition of her contributions to the specialty of family practice. In addition, in 2016, the College of Medicine – Phoenix named her an esteemed professor; and in 2018, the Arizona Medical Association Foundation (ArMA) created a scholarship in her name, commemorating her hard work and contributions in building the first medical school in Phoenix, as well as her commitment to serving Arizona.

Dr. Chadwick graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in zoology, was granted her MD by the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson in 1975 and completed a three-year residency in family medicine at Scottsdale Memorial Hospital.
