The College of Medicine – Phoenix strongly promotes collaboration among its faculty and allows for certain faculty to request secondary titles in other departments within the college. Faculty members seeking secondary titles should submit a letter describing their collaborations within the secondary department or complete the Request for a Joint Faculty Title Form (Word Doc). The letter or form plus a current CV should be submitted to the Office of Faculty Affairs, who will submit a request to the primary and secondary department chairs for approval, after which the packet is submitted to the associate dean of Faculty Affairs for final review.

Faculty who teach or evaluate students at both the UA College of Medicine – Tucson and the UA College of Medicine – Phoenix may request a Joint Title, which is reviewed and approved by both colleges relevant departments. The process for submission is the same as above.
