The U of A College of Medicine – Phoenix strongly promotes collaboration among its faculty and allows for certain faculty to request secondary titles in other departments within the college. Faculty members seeking secondary titles should submit a letter describing their collaborations within the secondary department or complete the request for a Joint Faculty Title Form (PDF). The completed form and a current CV should be submitted to the Office of Academic & Faculty Affairs or to your faculty coordinator. They will submit a request to the primary and secondary department chairs for approval, after which the packet is submitted to the associate dean of Faculty Affairs for final review.
Faculty who teach or evaluate students at both the College of Medicine – Tucson and the College of Medicine – Phoenix may request a joint title, which is reviewed and approved by the relevant departments at both colleges. The process for submission is the same as above.
