Duration: 1 year (13 four‑week blocks).

Structure

  • Block 1 – Headache Boot Camp: orientation, foundational didactics, supervised patient care with extended visit time, core procedures.
  • 6 blocks – Headache Medicine Clinics: continuity clinics; longitudinal panel management; built‑in research/catch‑up time; optional primary‑specialty continuity (as available).

  • 5 blocks – Electives: tailored to goals in behavioral health, concussion, CSF disorders, neuroradiology, neurosurgery, obesity medicine, orofacial pain, pediatric headache, PM&R, sleep medicine.
  • PTO/CME: 5 weeks total scheduled across the year (3 weeks PTO + 2 weeks CME/professional development).

Procedures & therapeutics (graduated competency)

  • Peripheral nerve and trigger‑point injections (e.g., greater/lesser occipital; supraorbital; supratrochlear).

  • Infusion protocols.
  • External neuromodulation.
