Banner Boswell is essentially a geriatric hospital, with a lot of business for the palliative care team. We are a complete, multidisciplinary palliative medicine team with dedicated physician, NP, LMSW. We are embarking on a relationship with the geriatrics fellowship here, as well, and will be hosting four of their fellows this yea, which will make for a very collaborative environment. Spiritual care department (chaplains) are not dedicated, but are readily available and participate in our daily and weekly meetings. We also work closely with pharmacists, oncology navigators and ICU staff, helping to care for the most ill patients in the hospital.
