The University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix Neurosurgery Training Program has one residency position each year. We will begin accepting applications around September of each year to coincide with the NRMP Match.

All applications must be submitted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). To apply to our residency program, please also submit all documents through ERAS.

When applying to the Neurosurgery Residency, you will need to use the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP) Code below. Please review your entries carefully to ensure that you have listed the correct training program:

  • NRMP Code: 1011160C0

The program will review all applications received. Your application should contain the following documents:

  • Medical school transcript
  • Personal statement
  • Dean's Letter
  • Minimum of three (3) letters of recommendation

Once your application is complete on ERAS and available to us, it will be forwarded to the Neurosurgery Residency Selection Committee Members for review.
