Why the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix: From my very first conversations with the faculty, I found a program that values teaching and collegiality, where attendings are genuinely invested in fellows' growth as both educators and clinicians. I wanted to train in a program that would further develop my skills in serious illness communication, inpatient palliative medicine, and medical education within such a supportive environment
Hobbies and Personal Interests: Music, running, cooking.

Why the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix: I chose College of Medicine – Phoenix because it embodies the values that drew me to hospice and palliative medicine: compassion, collaboration, and patient-centered care. During my internal medicine residency at the U of A College of Medicine – Phoenix, I was inspired by the faculty's commitment to caring for patients with complex medical needs while honoring their individual goals and values. The program's emphasis on interdisciplinary teamwork and whole-person care makes it the ideal environment to continue my training and dedicate my career to guiding patients and their families through life's most challenging moments
Hobbies and Personal Interests: Weightlifting, Eating Pasta (obviously).
