Overview

The fellowship training consists of 12-months of clinical rotations focused on geriatric subspecialty training. There is no call required and weekends are off so the fellows are free to enjoy Arizona!

Clinical training involves progressively more senior responsibilities and participation with multidisciplinary teams of professionals in a variety of practice sites in both medical center and community settings.

Fellows are closely supervised by senior clinical faculty in all practice venues.

Didactic work will consist of seminars, directed readings, case conferences and journal clubs.

Scholarly activity will also include initiation of and/or participation in ongoing clinical research through the world-class facilities and resources of the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix.
