The Department of Pathology supports both basic and clinical research, particularly in translating scientific discoveries from laboratory benches to clinical beds.

All the Pathology faculty will be involved in basic, translational or clinical research. The Department's particular focus is on in Precision Pathology1.

Center for Precision Pathology

The Center for Precision Pathology consists of researchers with special interests in discovery and validation of biomarkers for the diagnosis of diseases, discovery and evaluation of optimal therapeutic targets for the treatment of diseases and evaluation of pharmacogenetics and metabolomics of individual patients.
