Seminar Title
- Fungal exposure: a neglected “E” in the Gene-Environment (GxE) interaction research
Objectives
- Identify fungal exposure as a neglected environmental factor in GxE research.
- Explain how fungi contribute to pulmonary diseases (such as asthma and valley fever) via host–pathogen interactions.
- Discuss mechanisms linking fungal exposure to genotoxicity and lung cancer.
