Seminar Title
- TRPV1 Channel Mediated Remote Ischemic Preconditioning (RIPC) Signaling Implications for patients with and at risk for myocardial infarction.
Objectives
- Understand the mechanisms underlying RIPC
- Understand the limitations of bringing RIPC to the bedside
- Recognize the role of TRPV1 channels in mediating the RIPC response
- Explain how stimulating TRPV1 may result in clinical application of RIPC in patients.
