The main objective of this session is to ensure researchers understand the final stages of submitting a grant application and are well-prepared for the review process, equipping them with practical tips to strengthen their proposals and navigate the NIH system with confidence.

Guest Speaker

Dr. Daniel Suhr — director of R&D and co-founder of Independent Platform, LLC — is an experienced research development leader with over 15 years of expertise in SBIR/STTR grants, technical writing and commercialization strategy. He has managed and partnered on multiple SBIR-funded projects in education, environmental sensors and medical devices, and he has successfully led commercialization efforts for SBIR-created products. Through Independent Platform, he has trained hundreds of entrepreneurs in SBIR strategy and proposal writing.
