The general learning objectives for our Grand Rounds are to expand the level of knowledge in the understanding, evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation of patients with mental illness. More specific objectives are developed and distributed for each presentation.
Presenters and discussants include our faculty and trainees in the UA College of Medicine – Phoenix Psychiatry Residency Program, as well as speakers with local, regional and national prominence.
Our Grand Rounds occur most Fridays, September through May, from noon – 1:00 p.m. in the Medical Education Amphitheatre on Lower Level 1 of Banner – University Medical Center Phoenix. Most events are designated for 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit.
