Our residency retreat series is designed to support professional growth, reflection, and connection at key milestones in training. These protected-time experiences combine interactive workshops, wellness activities, and team building in a supportive environment away from clinical duties.
- Intern Retreat: Early in the year, all interns gather at a faculty member’s home for a retreat focused on stress management, teamwork, teaching medical students, and other high-yield topics selected by the intern class
- PGY1 to PGY2 Transition Retreat: As residents prepare to step into the role of senior resident, this retreat focuses on teaching and leadership skills. Interactive sessions emphasize communication, supervision, feedback, and navigating the increased responsibility of PGY2 year.
- PGY2 Retreat: This retreat is centered on career development, advancing teaching skills, and wellness.
