Why the U of A College of Medicine – Phoenix: Professionally the program has everything I could want in terms of the broad clinical experiences (VA, hepatology, advanced endoscopy, general GI) and procedural opportunities within one of the largest and most diverse cities in the country. During the interview process, I was also impressed by how warm, supportive, and welcoming everyone I met was. The faculty during my interview day seemed genuinely caring and thoughtful about how to help their trainees reach their goals. The fellows I met during my pre-interview social seemed like they had really bonded and become great friends, which definitely makes it seem like a great place to live and work in.
