I am grateful this program allowed me to cultivate lifelong friendships and reinforced my passion for gastroenterology through challenging rotations and outstanding education
Hobbies and Personal Interests: Running, golf, tennis, ceramics, matcha lattes, traveling to Mexico.

Here, I have developed deep connections with the faculty and fellows, fallen in love with the culture based on teamwork, and developed an unmatched sense of belonging. This place, to me, is more than a location to train, it is part of my home. I can't wait to continue spreading roots in Arizona as this is where I hope to stay after fellowship

Why the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix: I chose U of A College of Medicine – Phoenix because it offers the perfect balance of rigorous academics and hands-on procedural experience. After seeing how friendly and supportive all attendings and fellows were during the interview process, it was clear this was the best place for me. Also, I feel a strong connection to Phoenix, my sisters live there and most of my family is only a few hours away in Sonora, Mexico. I couldn’t miss the opportunity of being closer to them
