The Division of Rheumatology provides comprehensive outpatient and inpatient services spanning the full spectrum of autoimmune and inflammatory musculoskeletal diseases.
Outpatient Services include:
- Diagnosis and longitudinal management of inflammatory arthritis, including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis.
- Management of connective tissue diseases such as lupus, Sjögren’s syndrome, scleroderma and myositis.
- Care for vasculitis and other systemic autoimmune disorders.
- Treatment of crystal arthropathies, including gout and pseudogout.
- Management of additional rheumatologic conditions.
Specialty Clinical Programs:
- Combined Rheumatology–Pulmonology clinic providing multidisciplinary care for patients with interstitial lung disease.
Procedural and Imaging Services:
- Musculoskeletal ultrasound for diagnostic evaluation.
- Ultrasound-guided joint aspirations and injections.
- Joint, bursal, tendon sheath and carpal tunnel injections.
Infusion Services:
The division offers on-site biologic and immunomodulatory infusion therapies with dedicated nursing support, ensuring safe administration, close monitoring and comprehensive patient education.
Inpatient Consult Service:
Our faculty provide hospital-based consultation for complex rheumatologic conditions, including vasculitis, lupus flares, myositis and systemic inflammatory syndromes, working in close collaboration with hospital medicine and subspecialty teams.
