Dean Fred Wondisford, MD, MS, MBA, joined AZFamily to discuss the U of A College of Medicine – Phoenix's recently announced three-year curriculum.
The new degree — which will also be offered at the College of Medicine – Tucson — will allow graduating physicians to enter the workforce one year earlier than those who pursue the traditional four-year degree, decreasing student debt and increasing the number of primary care physicians available to serve Arizonans.
