The Student Interest Group in Ophthalmology was created for any U of A College of Medicine – Phoenix medical student interested in learning more about the science behind and the treatment of the eyes. Members will learn how to operate a slit lamp, dissect a pig’s eye, work with blind children and more. Events are held throughout the year. Mandi D. Conway, MD, is the faculty advisor for this group.
