The University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix Pathology Interest Group (PathIG) is a student-centered study group. It is for all the medical students who are interested in learning pathology to become a better physician and/or choosing pathology as a future career.
The PathIG activities will be organized according to the students’ needs, which include — but are not limited to — lectures by both academic and private practicing pathologists, group discussions on pathology problems, residency application, future career paths and more.
The group also organizes tours to the Phoenix clinical laboratories and medical examiner’s office. The current group leaders are Alden Elizabeth Miller, MS3, and Nicole Alissa Peters, MS4.
