Medical Knowledge

Graduates of the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix will apply problem solving and analytical thinking skills to problems in basic science and clinical medicine. They will demonstrate knowledge about the:

1. Established and evolving core of basic medical sciences.
2. Application of basic medical sciences to patient care.
3. Investigatory and critical thinking approaches.

This module includes illustrative examples through narrative segments outlining a common core of Educational Program Objectives (EPOs) relating to Medical Knowledge.

• Introduction to Medical Knowledge.

• Core Basic, Clinical, and Social Sciences.

• Application to Patient Care.

Once each segment has been reviewed, complete the online quiz pertaining to the Medical Knowledge Module.
